"Moon-Streams"

Bob Nellis & Brian Baer

Traffic lights are blinking, darkness all around;
Many people sleeping, but his mind is full of sound.

Muddled thoughts are passing, his actions are reflexive,
The day was so depressing, and night's been so repressive.

His auto's set for homing, her distractions are removed;
His mind is slowly clearing; he wonders what it's proved.

They enjoyed themselves together, but they lost that when they parted;
The selves inside stayed empty, now they're back where they started,
Back where they started...

Traffic lights are blinking, darkness all around;
Many people sleeping, but her mind is full of sound.

Muddled thoughts are passing as she lies upon her bed,
The day was so depressing, and the night, it seems so dead.
Her body's slowly turning as she wonders what to do,
She hopes she hasn't hurt him, she wonders what it's proved.

They enjoyed themselves together, but they lost that when they parted;
The selves inside stayed empty, now they're back where they started,
Back where they started...

Traffic lights are blinking, darkness all around;
Many people sleeping, but their minds are full of sound...
