I wake up with my
mind ajar, as
brighter visions beam afar,
And I've yet to find out where we are,
I'm troubled and I'm lost...
Uncertainty is commonplace, when
everywhere we go we race,
All questions that we hear, we face--
And much the answers cost.
A sign wave here, a voice shouts there,
Protesting warring, lack of air,
You've got the right to grow your hair,
But you're nailed to the cross, and in
your win ---you've lost!
It makes me troubled as I watch --
Moods change from joy to shock,
So at night my door I'll lock to all my
friends,
And as I turn the key, I will turn to
secrecy,
For trust and faith are coming to an
end,
And reality is what it's always been.
And as I turn the key, I will turn to
secrecy,
For trust and faith are coming to an
end,
And reality is what it's always been...
